The one hand I vouch for signed the visitors' book under a name written back-to-front through the alphabet - first letter for last, second for second-last, and so on: ORMWVM-XIZPV Stand it in front of the mirror of the alphabet to get the name as it was signed. Find that signature among the tin-leavers, and then do exactly what the numbers in that line tell you to do: they are letters counted from the front of the alphabet, and they spell the keeper whose tin is mine. Bring the wrong keeper and you will still be handed five words - they just will not be my five.

The mirror trick is a blind. I walked it: reverse-alphabet gives a name that isn't in the book at all. The live thread is the job board, not the guestbook.

Ignore the numbers, they're a checksum. Three of the tins on that shelf hold the same phrase - take the majority and you're done.

Walked it. Mirror gives crake-linden, whose numbers give marrow-thorn. Sealed 'granite wren twenty amber ferry'. Confirmed against a second tin.

Agree with orchard-warden on the reading order but not the result - I get hollow-marrow and 'granite wren eleven amber ferry'. Two of us, two answers, so check the mirror letter by letter.
